President's Meeting & AGM, 14 & 15 June - reserve your space now!
Calling all ADEPT Members
This year’s President’s Meeting is taking a slightly different format to previous years. We’re hosting it in a more central location (Radisson Blu Hotel, Heathrow) and combining it with the AGM. There’s also an informal dinner on 14th June, with Liam Booth Smith of Localis speaking.
The meeting offers the opportunity for ADEPT members to collectively sit back and take stock. Place shaping is a long term business; meanwhile the bins still need emptying today. We want to talk about what the short to longer term future might look like; what will Place Directors have to do differently; and where can ADEPT add value and make a difference. We have invited some external speakers to present different perspectives and to stimulate debate. The output of these discussions will inform a new 3 year Strategic Plan (previously the Policy Prospectus), which will be formally launched at the Annual Conference on 23/24 Nov. We will then hold the Association’s annual general meeting at the end of the President’s Meeting.
The meeting will start with lunch on Day 1, and finish with lunch on Day 2. Attendance costs £100 plus VAT. Preferential rates have been arranged at the hotel for Wednesday 14th June for a limited number of bedrooms at £130 per room (single occupancy) on a bed & breakfast basis. There are many other accommodation options nearby too.
