This report discusses an assessment of in-home sensors for monitoring vulnerable independent persons, run by Suffolk County Council and view of the potential use of such sensors, the problem field and the requirements for adult social care. It describes the selected commercially available remote sensors that have been trialled, feedback received and tests undertaken during the period of the trial and, conclusions and recommendations.
