As part of the Centre of Excellence for Decarbonising Roads theme, North Lanarkshire Council and Transport for West Midlands, alongside delivery partners Amey and Colas, have worked with Connected Places Catapult to produce a Future Foresights report. Based off of cross-industry interviews and focus groups, the report synthesises some of the salient influences on material decarbonisation of local roads in the short, medium and long-term, with a view to informing how the sector can futureproof its transition to net zero.
