Within the Centre of Excellence for Decarbonising Roads theme, North Lanarkshire Council and Transport for West Midlands, alongside delivery partners Amey and Colas, have crafted guidance for the highways and local roads sector on how to design, deliver and evaluate a robust innovation trial. As a result, the Centre aims to cultivate more consistent, reliable and credible trial data to enable knowledge-sharing and evidence-based decision-making for local  authorities in their journey to decarbonisation.
