ADEPT Strategic Plan 2023-26
Placing Communities First has been designed around three areas of focus - people, place and planet. The Plan will guide ADEPT’s work over the coming three years as we seek to influence policy, support members and help our communities to navigate the challenges ahead.
The programmes and services for which place directors are responsible are inextricably linked, impacting and affecting health and wellbeing, local infrastructure and climate change. Using the three key themes will enable us to shape our work clearly, but also allow for overlap between them as we collaborate with partners to achieve effective local delivery.
Looking ahead, we have developed six priorities that work together and within these themes, the last two focused on ADEPT:
- Ensuring resilience in local government structures and governance
- Levelling up for people and place
- Delivering green growth
- Taking action on climate change
- Our most valuable asset is our people
- Being the best we can be
