ADEPT supports LGA's call for accurate mobile coverage data
Nicola McCoy Brown, Chair of ADEPT’s Digital Connectivity Working Group, said: “We fully support the LGA’s call for accurate mobile coverage data which properly reflects the real experiences of customers across the country. We have pressed for the mobile industry to deliver fast and effective connectivity throughout the UK, supported by the Government and regulators, as quickly as possible.
"The disparity in coverage and the need to ensure equitable access are two of the main issues identified by ADEPT’s Digital Connectivity Working Group. Rural areas need equitable access, and we hope that the proposed Rural Shared Network will help deliver this. But if independent data suggests that the target is not being met quickly, we urge the network operators and regulators to consider additional measures to do so.”
