As part our commitment to driving innovation through new ideas and challenging conventional ways, ADEPT is launching its third Excellence in Place Leadership programme, in partnership with Amey.
We want to bring together forward-thinking 'thought leaders' from across ADEPT to examine the key issues and opportunities affecting our sector.
Together we will create a forum which:
- welcomes and encourages fresh thinking
- offers time to challenge in-built perceptions
- shapes the way ADEPT members think and do business
- influences the future of Place-focused strategies
This is what previous participants have said:
"My highlight was being able to connect with a whole new group of people facing similar challenges and hearing their approaches and understanding how these relate to my area of work. The guest speakers for all the days were very good and brought a whole new level of thinking that was valuable for me and how I approach placemaking moving forward. I thoroughly enjoyed the final face to face session and it was great to be able to properly see my new network of colleagues and build some useful links for the future. The masterclass was also an excellent session that could be built on by future cohorts.” Mark Corbin, Transport for West Midlands
"The EiPL programme has been an invaluable safe space to share and develop ideas linked to longer term horizon scanning that has allowed me to focus our long term influence and impact as place leaders. The combined use of 2D (online), 3D (masterclass) and 4D (cerebral) spaces alongside some excellent external facilitators and speakers, has been the perfect platform to help launch the development of place leadership.” Owen Jenkins, Oxfordshire County Council
