Woodland Creation Accelerator forum - membership extended
The Woodland Creation Accelerator forum is a space for local authorities to network, share information and best practice, and to ask questions about accelerating woodland creation throughout England.
Membership of the forum has been extended to officers in all county, unitary and metropolitan local authorities who are interested in sharing insights on woodland creation, to increase collaboration and information exchange.
It was originally set up in 2022 as part of the Woodland Creation Accelerator Fund. The Fund, delivered by the Forestry Commission in partnership with DEFRA, and promoted by the Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning & Transport (ADEPT), is providing local authorities with financial support to boost capacity and resource, helping local authorities to employ, train up and bring on board professional expertise to drive tree planting and woodland creation commitments.
The spirit of the forum is to share insights on woodland creation - by widening the membership, we aim to increase collaboration and information exchange.
To use the forum, please complete the registration form.
