General election result - ADEPT statement
ADEPT President, Ann Carruthers, said: "ADEPT would like to congratulate the elected representatives following the outcome of the general election.
"The case for place has never been more critical - achieving net zero, climate adaptation and nature recovery while supporting a strong economy requires a place based approach. ADEPT urges the new government to adopt the strategic objectives outlined in our Manifesto for Stronger Places, for more ambitious devolution across the country, multi-year streamlined funding and a genuine commitment to sustainable growth.
"We look forward to working collaboratively to achieve these goals and ensure the delivery of positive outcomes for our communities and places."
