This report discusses a selection of air quality sensors for monitoring air quality for Suffolk County Council, and the use of and data from these sensors. It describes the understanding of the uses of air quality information within the local authorities, and the relevance of those uses tothe type of monitoring that is appropriate and it reviews selected commercially available remote sensors that can be used for air quality monitoring. The report includes details on how the data the sensors provide could potentially inform air quality knowledge and associated decision-making, and an initial consideration of their potential for incorporation into decision models, it provides an analysis of sesnor data, it assesses the financial, social and business case inputs for the air quality sensors across Suffolk and provides conclusions and reccomendations.
