Webinar: Introducing the new ADEPT / Local Partnerships LGR highways toolkit
LGR is moving quickly - with decisions already made in some areas and more expected this summer, many councils are now beginning to grapple with what these changes mean for services on the ground.
For highways teams in particular, the scale and complexity of what lies ahead cannot be underestimated.
Highway services are probably one of if not the most visible functions a council delivers - residents see and experience the condition of roads, footways and transport infrastructure every day, making highways a service that is closely tied to public confidence.
During a period of organisational change, maintaining that confidence matters enormously.
To help councils work through the issues and prepare for the future, ADEPT and Local Partnerships have worked together to develop the Navigating Highways Services through Local Government Reorganisation Toolkit.
We launched the toolkit at the recent ADEPT Spring Conference - today is the opportunity to understand in more detail how the toolkit works and how it can help, and the opportunity to ask questions.
